Kenya has corona too. Far fewer people are infected, however, and the number of deaths is also limited: "only" 60 in the whole country. But because the country is completely closed, no tourists are coming. The whole economy has ground to a halt.
Where the government here steps in to keep people at work, people there are sent home without income. Nothing is being earned at all.
Fortunately the LCO in Putten has taken the fate of the very poorest to heart. This morning they could collect a food parcel at our school, at a safe distance and after their temperature had been taken. Once again we thank the LCO on behalf of all these people.
